Hey, has anyone else had a similar problem? My girlfriend bottomed out in her Neon and the tranny oil pan started leaking at the mating surfaces. When I went to change the seal, I noticed that the pan was ever-so-slightly warped (when turned upside down on a flat surface, the pan does not sit completely flat...just very close to flat). Anyway, just wondering if someone else has had this problem, and if you were able to get the tranny oil pan back up without it leaking (I've dropped the pan twice now and put it back up once with a gasket and once with just silicone...leaked both times). Do I need to invest in a new oil pan? Are they costly from the dealer? Thanks in advance for any info you can provide.
