Default need help taking front end off

I am building a trailer out of an 85 dodge 3/4 ton.I have never did much body work.I can just start stipping away at fenders motor and cab.Anyone got any suggestions on how to make this faster or easier.Once I get front end and cab off I will have bo trouble converting frame into trailer.I need to get rid of the cab and front end and motor so if anyone in minnesota metro area wants anything contact me (its a 2 wheel drive).I could send a pict. And its a freebie I would gladdy exchange for simple instructions to take of not to destroy anything one may need. The engine ran great but had high miles. But we believe the timing chain is bad as when running you have to set distributer out of sink to keep motor from reving and idleing(back and forth). But when you turn distributor so it runs good it will just not start in that position.I have no interest or need to repair it.I want it out of yard and only want to keep box and frame for trailer.
If I am lucky enough to have someone read this post till this point. Can anyone tell me if I can remove the gears and axel shafts so wheels freespin. As you see I know little.I know my brother did many removing internal gears in rear end but do not remember what kind of vehicle he used.I can not contact him for advice as he passed away.Wish I could he new way more about this stuff than I.Please help just with instructions for tare doown if you can.
Thanks
