Default crankshaft is killing me

i have 1999 dodge ram 1500 w/ the 3.9L 4x2. i recently changed the rod bearings, rods, and crankshaft. i can let the truck idle for hours but as soon as i go to drive it, it starts to knock. after removing the oil pan i found that one of the bearings has worn already. after changing the bearings repeatly the problem is still there. the clearances between the crank and bearing are on point. should there be any play from left to right between the rods and the crankshaft?

What sort of oil pressure are you getting. From memory I beleive the side clearance is .005-.013 for stock and .008- .010 for performance
