I have a 2001 Dodge Neon. Lately it has been acting kinda wierd and I was wondering if anyone could help me out? About 3 months ago as I was backing out of my driveway the car shut off completely. It did it to me two times after that. So i put some fuel injector cleaner in it and took it to an auto mechanic place. they said it was my spark plugs and wires. $200 dollars later I thought it was fixed. The car was running great. But now it is doing it again. And it seems to be ideling pretty ruff at times when i'm just sitting at a stop light? I'm confused and have no idea as to what it could be? I just don't know what I should do next! Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

 

a guy i know has a 95 intrepid and it was doing the same thing. it ended up being the computer

 

was it expensive for him to get that fixed? I'm going to be taking the car in this week. I never even would have thought it could be the computer. Thanks!

 

I would clean the throttle body first!!!!

 

how would you go about cleaning that? I have also been told it could be a cam sensor??? what do you guys think?
