Default RE: help please

Nope. Those wires go to the O2 (oxygen sensor). This reads the amount of oxygen in your exhaust gas, in turn tells the engine computer wether to lean out or richen the air to fuel mixture. Not to worry though, as long as you buy an exhaust kit made specifically for your truck you wont have a problem. Should come with adapters and all that junk. Word of advice though, if your not even framiliar with what the oxygen sensors are or what they do you probrably should let a professional to the install. Only because irreversable damage can be done if not done properly. Basically a simple 500 exhaust job can end up costing you 1500 or even $2000... !!

Hope that helped
