Default Not enough heat

I have a 1999 Durango with 160k on it. I just replaced the thermostat and radiator cap. This did nothing to give me more heat. I did notice when I started it after installing the thermostat while I was topping off the radiator, it seemed I got return fluid before it heated up. Is there a bypass I should check? The temp guage reads on the low side in the operating range.

Thank you,

Richard

Default RE: Not enough heat

sometimes there is a bypass around the heater core and if your heater core is clogged it will bypass it and thats why your not gettin any heat I had the same problem on a regal that I had i just took the hose off and hit it with an air hose and cleaned it out but if you do it dont blow to much air through it
