my 99 dakota runs rough at times, like a missfire. I noticed it also when pulling a trailer. Replaced the plugs, wires and dist. cap/rotor with no help. Someone suggested checking the engine codes by holding the trip odometer in and turning on the key. This appears to check a lot of gage functions but not sure what else it is telling me. Help!
