Hi my name is Vanessa and I just bought a used 97 Dodge Neon a month ago. A week after i bought it, it gave me some problems. I had to replace the fuel pump and the gaskett because the car wouldnt start. It has been another week since i fix it...today when i was driving it...the car started shacking and going slower and slower till it stopped. The button of check engine turned on....i dont really know whats wrong with the car. Any suggestions? Thanx

 

Could be the timing belt that finally gave out so hopeully your valves are not bent or smashed. Umm I would have to think on what else it could be though.
