Default My truck keeps stalling!!!

These are the deatils of my truck:

1997 Dodge Dakota Sport
56500 Original Miles - (38k from California, 18500 from Kentucky)
Newer Catalytic Convertor
Newer Tires (6,000 miles on them)
Hard Toneau Cover
Bed Liner
Towing Package
V6 Automatic
3.9 L
A/C
Power Steering
Tilt Wheel
Cruise Control
AM/FM/CD
Dual Front Air Bags
ABS
17 Gallon Fuel Tank

Over the past few weeks, if I let go of the accelerator while driving, it stalls, causing power steering to turn off and I have to pull over and re-start the truck. What can I do? My son uses it on a daily basis for college, and I'm afraid he's going to get in a car accident with it. Could you tell me a possible fix? Or should I just sell now and buy a different vehicle?

Bring it to Dodge and have it ranthrough the diagnostic machine. It might be sometihng small or something big.
