Lukes Link???
I recently found this website that makes aftermarket front end parts for Dodges. It rebuilds ball and socket ends and claims to make them stronger than new. It says it will fix any problems with the tracking bar, so you never have to purchase a new one. Has anyone heard of or seen this on a vehicle. Thanks.
Hi. I'm new on here. Looks like a great site.
A friend of mine has the Luke's Link on his truck and it works well for removing the play in the track bar that the trucks are notorius for. I installed a similar setup on my 2001 3/4 ton. It came from Lindstad's Alignment in Belle Fourche, South Dakota. The advantage to the Lindstad's bar is that it was an exchange item. The Luke's Link requires fabrication to your existing track bar. The disadvantage to the Lindstad's track bar is that it rubs the front diff cover slightly when the suspension it compressed fully in off road situations. It has not caused any problems and has been on the truck for about 50K miles. It is greaseable and also adjustable for play. I believe it is also rebuildable byordering a parts kit. Hope this helps.
