I have a 98 Dodge Ram quad cab and have some light issues that are stumping me. My headlights are just losing their mind it seems. When I go from brights to regular headlights, the only lights that stay on are the foglights. I have to basically act like I am going back to the brights and the regular lights will kick on. Then on the interior of the truck, the dome lights basically never come on when the doors open. I know the bulbs are good cause I replaced them thinking that was the problem. When you turn the headlight switch all the way CCW, they will come on, but never when the door opens.
Thinking all of this was related, I went and got a new headlight switch and replaced the current one. The problems are still there. I also replaced the headlights w/ some black euro style ones, and now my brights won't come on, yet the dash says that they are on when its just my regular headlights....thing is when the regular headlights are on, the fogs aren't cause the truck thinks its running the brights....
