This isnt a dodge problem but maybe someone can still help. My buddy owns a 91 cutlass supreme 3.1 and recently tried installing a remote starter but it didnt work. A couple days later the car suddenly lost steering and brakes, then hegot it stopped and it stalledthe oil gaugedropped, and the engine temp shot up.He had it towed to a local auto shop and the guy told him it was an ignition module??

 

It sound like the Engine Control Module is finished.I had to replace one in an 89 Cutlass.There are two ECM part numbers and one cost $150 and the other cost $90.(I think)
