I have a few late model 3500's that are high mileage and the shifter is very hard to pull out of park. We disconnected the cable at the trans. and it moves smoothly. I feel it is in the trans. but ??????? Why? Help please.

 

18 people checked the out but noone had any help.Well, I got it.... WHEN you all have the same problem with your 05-07 ram transmission with high miles, here you go. The fix----remove the valve body and the shift quadrant is made out of crap metal. You can grind the lip off of it that it is catching on or replace the shifter quadrant. Dodge will soon be dealing with this HUGE problem. I already have done 3 of them. Good Luck...
