My Dad got in an accident with his 2001 Dodge Dakota it has fallen upon me as my job to fix the truck. After threw months of engine and body work we are finally ready to go. The only thing holding me up is the headlights. On the Passanger side the Head lights work fine and also turn signal. We do not have the bed on so no tail lights. The driver side though wont flash when u put the turn signal on. When we turn the truck on the left turn signal comes on and stay one. It does not however flash. The bulbs themselves do not flash either. They do however turn on when the Parking lights are turned on. .. When we hit the turn signal down and they do not flash we also hear a small humm under the dash. What could be causing these brand new running light bulbs not to flash on the driver side but yet they will flash on the passanger side.?? Also the battery seems to drain fast when we dont have it running and are just foolin wit the lights.. Could those flasher filaments in the bulbs be shorted out or would then the bulbs not flash at all>>?
