EGR
on some vehicles the egr system can be yanked out, on others it cant. I know how to yank it out of a toyota pickup with either the 2rz or the 3rz engine and keep the removal from tripping the check engine light.
I'm not as versed on mopar engines, and while yanking out the egr system might be done without giving you a check engine light, in the long run it would be better to get the intake that matches the engine if it does have an egr system or if it doesnt.

No computer to give me a check engine light. And since I am replacing my computer spark controller [called the Lean Burn System] with Mopar Performance's Electronic Ignition the EGR is only there to help emmissions. I am pretty sure I have found the answer I was looking for. The EGR can go since it only costs you performance and fuel economy when it is EGR'ing. I have been told as long as I keep my cat and smog pump in place I will pass emmisions [even though I live in a state that doesn't require emmisions!]
