i have a 71 340 ,80 over with 13-1 piston and running ported x heads withweiand tunnel ram AED750 dp
and want to know if the 99 5.9 magnum heads will interchange
and will the magnum heads give me any performance edge
only reason using the magnum heads is
planning to put motor in my durango and wanted brackets for99 alternator and pulley system to fiton motor
can i use msd 6al and mech distributorand mate itwith the ecu and elimanate factory fuel inj? and timing
and how?

Well they are 2 different series of engines Magnum & LA. Im not too sure if they do interchange. Have you looked for aftermarket seprentine belt systems for the LA series engines in general? Because the newer 360 blocks might have different bolt arrangements for pulley systems n such.
