I have a question or two about the affect of headers on my car. I think that i have pretty much decided to buy some things like a cold air intake and my stereo, but i am wondering that if i buy headers. i need to know what affect they will have on my car, mostly in the areas of horsepower and fuel mileage. i really want to pump up the HP but i dont want to sacrifice any of the fuel mileage.</P>


Are there any cons to putting a set of headers on my neon? and what are some other components that i could add on that would help out with mileage and/or power.</P>

 

Just about any and all performance mods you do to it, within reason, will increase horsepower and fuel mileage as long as you use the stock computer. Performance computers add more fuel and advance the timing to maximize performance, but to do so they sacrifice your fuel mileage.
