just bought an 05 1/2 quad 4x4. I had an 03 heavy duty quad 4x4. fist thing I noticed is the new 05 is not as loud? does the 05 have some sort of resinator on it ? nut anyhow what size of pipe does it have? I think i want to put and magnoflow on . so what exhaust do I need? is it a 3" straight or is there an offset?

 

I just bought an 05 ram quad cab hemi about 3 weeks ago. Had a 63 series k&n filtercharger put on and a magnaflow muffler with 3" pipes. Sounds awsome. Good deep sound and start up and when you put your foot into it. But nice and quiet inside. the muffler i have is offset but i think a straight through might be what your looking for.
