I'm looking into getting glasspacks for my '05 1500 QC. just seeing if anybody has them, if so, what their setup is and would they recommend them. thanks in advance for your input.

 

I have glasspacks on my 84 3/4 ton and if you ask me they sound great. on a truck as new as yours though, i dont really think you would need them unless you are going for a somewhat quiet exhaust. i dont have cats on mine so it needed a little something to quiet it down.

 

Seeing as I have heard pickups with glasspacks, i prefer turbo mufflers. I just dont like the cackle of glasspacks when you downshift. The turbo mufflers have the much more settle tone which is pleasant. But if you want screaming exhaust that is great too.
