Alright ya'll, Im looking to put a high flow cat on my 2.5 and already have a few to choose from. The question is the O2 sensor. Its not actually on the stock converter but about half back between it and the muffler. So will a cat thats higher flow throw a CEL? I figure it may be ok being as its not on the cat itself and the same amount of exhaust will be coming out, just faster . Any one know?

 

go ahead and slap one in, if you throw a code, get a 02 simulator they run like 30 bucks from summitt

 

summit no longer sells the simulators, the company they went through stopped selling them.

 

just keep in mind the location of the o2 sensor and mount it close to it... no problems here
