I am a newbie to this site and I am not sure sound clips are possible. Everyone wants to know about exhausts, what sounds best, what the difference is in pipe size, location of the muffler, resonator off/on. If you have a Hemi engine; please if possible put a sound clip of the exhaust on this post. Make sure to let everyone know the setup, SI/SO, SI/DO, pipe size, muffler make and model, tips, cats on or off, etc. Also, mention other mods that might change the tone so everyone is clear. I am very interested to hear what everyone has. If clips aren’t available I apologize! I know that there are a lot of people like me who haven’t heard many different types. Magnaflow, Borla, Aero Turbine, Flowmasters, etc. Lets hear them all.

I put the aeroturbine at2525 on my 05. Was worried it might be to loud, but am very pleased with the sound. Loud enough outside no noise in cab. very pleased.

I had an 04 Ram HEMI, single cab, short bed. Put true duals on her with two S/I,S/O 40 series Flows...all it said when started was ATTITUDE! Almost too loud in lower gears but very pleasant at 70-80. If I was to do it again, I'd probably put Magnaflows or Borla on. Borla seems to give the best flow through and I think Magnaflows offer the sound I was looking for with the Flows. Left the cats on as it would not pass inspection in Virginia without the cats. It's easy to convert to tue duals with the newer HEMIs on pickups as there is no after cat, so the system can be changed. In contrast, I can't find anyone willing to change the system on my 03 Dakota R/T in that it has two pre-cats and one single after.

I run a MagnaFlow 3" cat back. I wouldn't change it for anything. Also went with the 24" muffler.

I have a Dynomax Turbo muffler on my car. It produces a nice rumble while cruising, but really yells when you "get on it."
