Default Exhaust Confusion ?????

I have a new 2005 Ram 1500 QC 4.7L I was thinking about the Flowmaster 50 Series Performance SUV muffler and just putting on the stock pipe S/I S/O. Does anyone know the dimensions of the Stock system. (ie.) 3"in 2.25 out , Center Offset. Stuff like That. A part number would be even better. I am looking more for sound. I don't want to get rid of a good Stainless steel pipe for an inferior Aluminized kit. Any help would be appreciated.

Go to your local Muffler shop and have them put on a 50 series HD,the rv is as quiet as stock, for just a tad more volume, remove the resinator at the tail pipe, you can also remove just the resinator yourself for a little instant gratification. The resinator just bolts on

Thanks, I just got back from having the muffler shop install my new exhaust system. I ended up getting the 50 series Delta Flow. SI/DO. Holy Crap it sounds awesome. Low rumble on the idle but give a little gas and WOW. I was going to get the 50 Series SUV Performance muffler but the guy in the shop told me it would be pretty quiet. I have to get used to it. For $345 clams I can't complain.

I had some stainless steel Chrome tips with Rolled edges put on. I am not sure if they are also Flowmaster. I don't think they are but they look awesome. I did not want the 45 degree slash cuts because you can really gash your shin if side loading. When I figure out how to post a photo I will get one up on the forum. I tipped the installer a little and made really nice welds and painted them with aluminum color paint to cover the blueing of welding. He was really cool. He even told me he could have done true duals for about $450.00- $480.00 using Flows if I wanted.
