Default flowmaster mufflers

I want to install the 40 series flowmaster muffler on my 2004 dodge reg. cab 4.7 liter. Does anyone know the offset? Or has anyone installed this type of muffler on a new model? I called flowmaster and they dont know the offset? Can anyone help me?

If you go to Flowmaster's website, don't they have a vehicle search engine which will tell you what mufflers fit your car and the inlet/outlet size and where they are located?

I went to flowmaster already and they told me that they didnt know the offset because they never had to work on a new model or installing the 40 series model. Is there anyone out there that has had this work done on a 2004 ram 1500? Or is it the same as a 2003 model? Thanks for telling me!

If you want the loudest then you want the regular 40 series Flowmaster mufflers and NOT their 40 series Delta Flow. The Delta Flow series of Flowmaster mufflers is quieter, so you will just want the regular Flowmasters.

If you wan't it loud you should run true duals with an X pipe, no cat, and a pair of 40 series 2 chambers(non DeltaFlow)!!!

If you want loud try Flowmaster's new Super 40 -

http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/cg...vQn&mv_pc=1409

They do have a kit for the 03/04 Ram -

http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/cg...vQn&mv_pc=1394

The kit is center offset front and dual center offset rear with options to run pipes out straight or on the sides. They are made in the US, and they should have known the offset there you must have talked to a secretary!

Hope that helps.
