exhaust set up questions

Default exhaust set up questions

exhaust set-up. ive got an 03 quadcab hemi. i want to run 2 flowmaster super 40's with chrome tips slanted out in from of my rear tires. is that possible or will i have to slant them down and out behind my tires. let me know please. i want it to be loud should i take the cats of or will that do damage to my motor or horse power.

well i can say its really your choice on where the pipes exit as for the removel of cats ,if your gonna add headers and you have future motor mods planned then yes remove them and get a o2 sim or cat box so you dont throw a check engine light,if you run headers and this exhaust no cats you will pick up around 20-25 hp at the wheels

sorry for the late reply you cut the wires that run to the rear o2 sencor and wire them to the box ,you must solder them

The CAT Converter on my truck needs to be replaced
Does It make sense to remove my CAT and install a resonator in its place or am I better off to just install a new CAT?
