i want get a cold air intake but i couldnt decide which should i get KN or volant cold air intake for my '04 ram srt10?? and which have a best process?

 

K&N makes a great product and youll definetly get some hp out of it, but if it was me id go with AEM brute force system. no real reason i feel k&n is played out.

i was checking website for aem brute force and there are not any one that will fit my 8.3L ram srt10?

 

i would go with k&n if it was me i mean its a good system and gives you plenty of extra hp!

 

but i have been heard that kn let more dirt in? some said i should leave it stock, some said i should go for jmb check it out

Don't have the SRT 10 but on my '01 2500 5.9 I went with the Volant. With the ram tube in place brings cold air from the front, sticks out adjacent to the radiator, versus from within the engine compartment. Can't say how it compares with K&N. Also helps that I recently added a Fastman TB.
