Default Raising the backseats

Raised my backseat 4" so my subs in the box wouldn't be touching the underside of the seats. Boy, the passengers in the back are REALLY raised up. I didn't take into account though that the seat belt latches might not reach through the seat, so I'll need to raise them up tomorrow!

Did you use grade 8 bolts ??? lengthening them soo much could be a BAD thing incase of a crash ...
I'd also recomend using something more solid then stacked washers for the same reason

I'm not sure of their grade, I will have to double check that. They are automotive bolts from Lowe's. I really wasn't a big fan of this solution, but then again it was just to keep the backseat from squashing the subs. And I RARELY have people in my backseat. This can definitely be just a temporary fix. Don't they make spacers for such a lift? I plan on having my install done within the next month or so and will likely drive with the back bench up 95+% of the time.
