How do I use internal neons?
Hey...
I just bought a 2000 Dodge Stratus SE and I plan to put internal neons in the car. I want to put some under the dash and under the seats.
I am really new with doing anything to cars and I would appreciate any help you all can offer. I need to know how to wire everything, what I should buy, and everything.
Thanks for all your help!

RE: How do I use internal neons?
Best advice....leave them off. They are not legal in most areas, and in others it's up to the cop to make the call.....you know what THAT means. If they see them, they are going to figure you fit the "profile" of a drug user/seller...I know I would. Do you REALLY want to know how this ends?[:'(]

RE: How do I use internal neons?
Well after being a dealer in the past (Vortex Auto Restyling) I know that the undercar kits are illegal in almost all places. Vegas is the only place I have run them outside a show or on private property. BLUE AND RED = BIG FINES. This is because they can get you for impersonation of an emergency vehicle acording to the California Vehicle Code. I still run Black Lights in the interior and havent had any problems running them. The best method is to run switches somewhere in the interior to ensure you can turn them off in the situation that you run them where you shouldnt. For most you can run small gauge wire since the draw is low. I would suggest the LED units since they draw milliamps rather than amps, for longer battery life. I have designs and scematics should you feel adventurous and want to build your own. If you have any questions, feel free to post or PM me.
