I've always considered "ricer" to describe a car that's either, poorly modded (ie no taste), or is all show in the style of fast and the furious but they pop the hood and it's all stock maybe an ebay intake. Although I am rather biased against the big wings, I've seen hundreds of cars with them and I've seen approximately one I thought looked good with a wing like that, but that's more my taste. Hell a lot of people would probably call my last car a ricer but they shut up pretty quick when they realized the performance held up to the looks.

 

to me its nice when you go to shows and things. But i think underbody leds and neons if its all one color and you dont see and wires and its all underneath the ride not behind the grille or anything like that i think its ricer when you can see all the wires and tubes and everything should be hiden i passed a civic and they had put a blue neon just one on there pillar thats rice you could see the tube and everything

 

now this car is rice if i ever seen people don't understand that you CANNOT but those spoilers on out cars it is embarrising

 

Ricer or not.....its all deush[:'(]. I drive an 87 GN and when i see these "cars" i destroy em. Who would choose these cars over classic muscle?!!!!

 

if you invest your money into the motor 1st and not looks and sound you got tuner.look at all the kids that started making there car look like fnf after the movie came out. a good amount is rice. but like said above, everyone is intitled to there own opinion. if thats your blue neon as long as you gotgo for that show then you arent rice. my own opinion

body kits can look good if put on properly, not many r however...

lights, i am not a fan but i have seen some that have been installed nicely,


i guess what i am trying to say is that if the stuff is installed properly then the car is not considered rice in my book...

exept for 5' spoilers... those are just RICE all the way!!!
