Default 2004 Grand Cherokee Stealth Edition:

2004 Grand Cherokee Stealth Edition, issued for the U.K. market.

The head-turning appeal of the ultimate 4x4, the Grand Cherokee, is further enhanced with the introduction of a limited edition, the Stealth.
Based on the popular Jeep® Grand Cherokee 2.7 CRD, the Stealth brings the all-terrain ruggedness of the luxury Jeep range to the city streets with style and panache. The Stealth gains striking Startech Monostar III alloy wheels and 255/55 R18 tyres, Brilliant Black metallic paint and privacy glass. The car is priced at £30,995 on the road.

Quieter, more powerful and more responsive than the turbo diesel engine it replaced last year, the 2.7-litre common rail diesel engine enables the Grand Cherokee Stealth to reach a top speed of 118mph and boast a fuel consumption of 29.1mpg on the combined cycle, making it one of the most fuel-efficient vehicles in its class.

Add to that the custom modifications which define the Stealth, and the result is a limited edition Grand Cherokee with a mouth watering £1,900 worth of extra features, priced at just £600 above the standard version.

Simon Elliott, Managing Director of Chrysler and Jeep in the UK said: "We’ve made the Grand Cherokee, our Jeep icon, even more desirable. The extra equipment only adds to its appeal and makes the Stealth an unbeatable proposition."

The Grand Cherokee Stealth comes with a full peace-of-mind warranty package and European roadside assistance cover for three year/60,000 miles plus a seven years’ unlimited mileage anti-corrosion guarantee.

Amanda,
The Liberty will be available with a Diesel for 2005. If public response is good, I'd expect to see the Diesel version of the WK Grand Cherokee here also.

Ditto Amanda. Those wheels are "totally 80's"! Thats also the first time I've heard Diesel and Stealth in the same sentence.
