DaimlerChrysler Statement in Response to Next Generation Jeep® Grand Cherokee Production at Magna Steyr:
2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited:
In an interview with Chrysler Group President and CEO Dieter Zetsche that appeared in the October 11 issue of Automotive News, a statement was erroneously reported regarding future production of the Jeep® Grand Cherokee at Magna Steyr in Graz, Austria.
2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited:
Chrysler Group will continue to produce the Jeep Grand Cherokee (current and next generation models) at Magna's Graz, Austria, facility. There is no change in the company's assembly agreement.
