We traded the stratus!! -- We got a Grand Cherokee!!
Could this possibly be an area where CTD owners and Dak owners unite on common ground of XJ ownership? I will leave it to my other Ram members to decide

Sounds good to me, The weather cleared a bit, but now the truck and jeep are quite dirty from running through nastyness and snow all week, not worth washing as there is still nastyness about either. Maybe next weekend!

a 1971 J10 full size 4x4 P/U with a 390CI engine (a brute).
a 1986 CJ7 and a 1994 YJ Wrangler with a 4.0 I6.
a 1993 & a 1998 ZJ Grand Cherokee Laredo (4.0 I6, 4x2's)
a 2002 WJ Grand Cherokee Laredo Sport 4x4 and my current '02 WJ Grand Cherokee Overland 4x4 w/ 4.7 H.O. V8.
I've driven them since 1979, when at the age of 12, I started driving the family J10 around the farm.
The only two times since then that I've not had one is from 1983 when we sold the J10 (body had rusted out and someone bought it for the engine) till I got the '86 CJ7 in 1989, and from late 2004 when I got divorced and the ex got the '02 Laredo Sport till I just picked up the '02 Overland about a month ago.
I consider ALL Jeep owners my brothers (and sisters), just as I do ALL Dodge Truck owners...
Well, take a look guys, In my signature pic is our new jeep next to the Cummins.. didn't wash them but in the picture the dirt isn't showing all that bad. Best I can do for now.
So far I would have to say we are pretty pleased with the new Jeep. Traction is fantastic, we have had good snowfall lately and not had an issue with the quadrdrive. Pretty sweet. I do wish the mileage was a tick better, but we knew what we were getting into. We are a tick over 850 miles on the clock and plan a short road trip to billings soon, about 200 miles one way, around christmas and we will really see the highway manners.
One wierd thing though, I have noticed that the lie-o-meter doesn't lie. Her average mileage calculator on the trip computer is dead accurate. I wish it was on the Ram.
