With the camouflage slowly coming off and major details getting exposed, there is no mistaking as to what this large SUV actually is. You’ve heard it referred to as the Grand Wagoneer. Maybe even by its codename — YK. But it’s practically official — Jeep’s upcoming seven-passenger luxury ute with three rows of seats will be called the Commander. Powered by a 4.7-liter V-8, or optional 5.7-liter Hemi, the super-sized Jeep will reach dealerships in time for the 2006 model year. Expect the Commander to be in the $40,000 range.

God, and I was so hoping that was a new Cherokee until I realized how big it was.
Anyone test drive a liberty lately? What a POS. I had my 90 Cherokee Limited then and when I hopped back in, thought I stepped into a much more expensive vehicle. That is just wrong...
