I for one was very excited when it was announced. I loved the old great big Wagoneer and was hoping that it would be more like that, you know, kinda the Cherokee body style, just a lot bigger.
When it came out, I thought it was ugly, and really boxy with those tall, straight-up windshield & windows. I never got into it, and I guess most others didn't either...

Now these were cool:

i for one LOVE my cherokee. and she see's a trail at every opportunity. I cant stand it when i see a lifted jeep that will never see a trail or a hole. i just wanna smack the drivers.

actually had one kid tell me his wrangler on 36's was too pretty to take off road.

this is my baby. sittin next to another car i love.
