my friends jeeps starts then dies. i had it at a dodge dealership and they said there is sometime wrong with the security system. they didnt know how to fix it. it allow drains the battery.

Factory or aftermarket security system?

I had a similar problem in my 89 toyota. It turned out, after many different alternators, I had a short in my interior fuse box. I simple 20 minute fix caused me about 3 days of cussing and heartache.

By the way, the only security system in that truck was me... just saying

What year? What model? What engine? You need to be more specific if you want any help.

Look like the jeep fixed itself... hahaha

check the alternator, voltage regulator or the battery....
