Jeeps The tough off road capability of ANY Jeep model from the Wrangler to the fully loaded Grand Cherokee keeps this cousin of Dodge the king of every hill.

Lift is complete, new tires are on...

Actually just found a set of Crager Soft 8s, a steel wheel for only $69 each. I emailed Crager to see if they work with TPMS, I understand most newer wheels do, but some don't and this is an older design.

If they'll work, what y'all think of 'em on a black Jeep?

Oh and if it turns out I can go with those black wheels, I'm gonna have to opt for these:

Welcome to the Nitto Family

You will like those tires, they are what I ran before going with the Mud Grapplers

I'm sure I will, the Jeep is mainly an on-road daily driver with some light off-road and camping use. Maybe a little mud on the way to a fishin hole or someplace, nothing major, although with the lockers front and rear, the added lift and those tires, the thing is probably as off-roadable as the truck...

Hammer, go look at the lifted WJ/ZJ thread on that other forum. There's tons of back WJ's with those rims.

IMHO stick with the overland wheels. The Cragars are too over played. Some small spacers might be a good idea though...

Problem is not being a WJ, it's the TPMS that is standard on the Overland and an option on the Limited.

Actually, one of the reasons I'm debating staying with the stock chrome ones is that I don't want the tires to be outside the tire well. Having to clean one vehicle everytime I go down a clay road in Ga after a rain is enough. At least the red rooster tails kinda blend on the truck...

Hammer if you could pull the $ together, those cragar soft 8s would look sweet on your jeep. Those stock rims scream cheesy suburbanite soccer mom SUV, not offroader "i've got lockers" Jeep.

You know hammer, I think a set of Rubicon wheels would look sick on there. Especially if you can get a set off of a sahara rubicon. They have a painted lip, and look killer. I had a set on my TJ.

When I put on my 4" lift on my TJ, everybody said, 'you cant even tell'. lol. Even though I had 33's on it. But when I would park next to a stock TJ, it would tower over it.

The Jeep looks good man. Ive always had a secret liking to lifted GRAND cherokees. Probably because my first jeep was an XJ. RIP... loved that thing....

Anyways, man I like the setup youve got. Im glad you went with the grapplers. I must have been mistaken, because I thought that in the other thread, you said you were getting some sumo-topo tires, or something like that. lmao.

happy wheeling... Just Empty Every Pocket....

Yeah, was gonna go with a set of no-name tires, my budget is super tight right now, but a buddy in Ga. with a tire and auto repair shop came through with the Terra Grappler for not much more than the no-names were. Local tire stores here in Fl. were up in the $170 range a tire and he came thru with a price of $590 mounted and balanced! Couldn't pass that up...
