Maybe Crank and Cam sensor. But if it is electrical, most of them time the Car would just die out regardless of how fast you drive.
Maybe u got a Vacuum leak, the 5.2 has some problem with the intake manifold sealing.
instead of keep throwing parts at it, it would probably be cheaper to have a shop do the diagnose.

I be honest with you, Jeep Grand Cherokee is a VERY expensive vehicle to own, on top of the Gas price nowaday, as some of the full size SUV. depending on the condition of ur car, might consider getting a cheaper car.
All the Customer I met with Grand Cherokee spend tons of money on repair and maintainence, but somehow they likes the car and OK with it.

Sounding like a vacuum leak to me too, especially if it's not cutting out in open loop, but starts to do so when going to closed loop.

Yep, Grand Cherokees are an awesome ride, but they are high to maintain. The drivetrain is pretty solid but all the electrical stuff is for sh*t. Try owning an Overland model! I'm all the time replacing blend doors, seat motors, window motors, etc.

I wouldn't complain too much about that '93, it's an 18 year old vehicle. How many 18 year old vehicles are still on the road???
