yep thats a good job. i have done that years ago. i found a extenal trans filter that goes in the cooler line, it goes in the return line, the rear fitting at the trans.,on chrysler trans. i had my mech put mine in a 42re, in a 2001 dakota V-6. go to auto-zone get a 2210, (magna-fine) it fits any 3/8 tubing. you will have to cut the tubing. be sure to put a bulge in the tube to keep the hose on, like the old fuel tubing.. high pressure hose of course. the filter does NOT come with hose, or clamp. my mech said it was not easy to find a place to put it. JUST FOR reff, wix has one for a 5/16 line 58964.
