Default hit in the rear

my wifes 2000 jeep grand cherokee got hit in rear now fuel pump wont come on any ideals

I am not too familiar with the Jeep Grand Cherokee but it almost sounds like the inertia (rollover) switch was tripped? You cant hear it kick on, I take it si what you mea? Which would me you are not getting pressure to the rail. That switch will trip to kill the fuel pump in an accident. I would check all your fuses, locate and replace the switch.

Not sure of your motor but here is a few:
