Default LINE-X'd Jeeps

Thought you folks would like to see some pics of LINE-X's Jeeps we've sprayed.

Entire exterior in black with black Nason paint for no fading. We also sprayed the Fireman's Association logo on the doors. The white specs in the second pic are sun reflections.

How much does it run to have the exterior of a jeep cherokee sprayed?

Will Line-X make the vehicle more dent resistant?
Does it act as a rust proofer?
Can it be as smooth as the factory paint?

Yes, LINE-X will make the vehicle more dent resistant. For shows, I spray Coke cans and let people squeeze them. There's no way you can crush the can.
Yes, LINE-X can prevent rust by providing a permanent watertight seal. However, rust could develop on the OTHER side of the metal (unless that side was also sprayed).
No, LINE-X cannot be sprayed as smooth as the factory paint. Look at pic below. We sprayed the grill and the black bumper inserts with LINE-X. There is very little texture.

Spray it off with water. If it's heavily soiled, use a rag or brush. Get the dealer to apply either Nason or Xtra. The product will ALWAYS be glossy and won't fade.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I was talking about on the front. In Texas bugs are a huge problem and are hard enough to get off a smooth surface. How hard would they be able to get off the Line-xed grill? I've been thinking of pulling my carpet in my 05 and having the interior and exterior done.

Oh yea, I'm in Texas also. If I were you, here's what I'd do: Have the grill sprayed with LINE-X and Dupont Nason. At this point your 90% there. Now, put some Zaino Z2 and Z6 on it. Bugs will not stick to anything with Z2 and Z6 on it. If you're not familiar with Zaino, it's a show car polish. www.zainostore.com

Edit: Just Z6 may be enough. I'll have to experiment, I have everything to test this out, except the bugs.
