2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Developed instant oil leak at 25K miles. Dealer said the plastic oil filter plenum cracked, Lost a quart of oil in a couple of miles. Jeep has been at dealer for two weeks. Part is "back ordered". No time frame for repair. If this had happened on interstate would have been BAD NEWS. Another engineering failure.
I hope they fabricate replacement from metal. What is the permanent fix besides a trunk full of spare parts?
