I was wondering if anyone has had this problem or could help. I have an 08 5.7 grand Cherokee that has a cylinder 1 and cylinder 4 deactivation code that will absolutely not go away. Put new sensors, even a new ecm, checked the harness, not sure how well but seemed right. The plug behind the head to the pigtail to the sensors checks fine and the sensors themselves have continuity. Its an electrical issue somewhere and I'm not sure where to start. Once you clear the code, it comes right back with key power before you even start it. Regardless of resetting ecm, new ecm, code reset etc. It doesn't change how it runs, but the wife wants the check engine light gone and a smidge more mpg.
