Default Anyone seen an SRT-8 yet?

Has anyone seen a new SRT-8 Cherokee yet? Seen the pics and commercials but haven't seen one on the road. Looks like one bad *** ride.

I saw one on my way home last night. There was one sitting across the street at the dealership while I was putting gas in my car. It looks a lot better then the base model Cherokee for sure.

I saw one today parked in front of the dealership when I took my Jeep GC in for some software upgrades. It was a black one and looked great. The 6.1 Hemi is one nasty motor. The service manager tried to talk me into test driving it, but then somebody else took it out. It never came back in the time that I was there, so I will probably do a test drive the next time I get to Rochester (NY).

The problem is that, if I test drive it, and it is much faster than my 5.7 Hemi, I may be tempted to trade up. The bad news is that I have to really watch the budget very closely for a while, so the whole thing would be really discouraging.

Interesting...I looked at an SRT8 Charger and unlike the previous post, they would not let me test drive it without a deposit??? I'm 43, I chuckled, and walked away...hearing "sir, sir"...

Honestly, can't stand dealerships...

Do you mind if I ask if you are paying sticker? What color are you getting? A dealer has a red one with only the $3,000 (convience?) package, just the way I want it. I'm too scared to stop by to check it out 'cause I'm sure I'll be $45,000 lighter.

A friend had a deposit on one and when it came in , his wife nixed the truck in favor of a Commander. He got married last year. I told him it was a mistake. Now, the new vehicle purchase is on hold until further notice. I hassle him about it every time I see him.[sm=smiley36.gif]
