I have a 98 XJ w/ a sound problem. My speakers started going out about a year ago. I turn a corner or hit a bump and they go off, come back on, etc. The speakers seem to be in good condition. The radio/CD player is in good condition. I think the problem is in the amp, but I can't find the amp.
Any ideas? I read another post here, but could not find my amp in any of the locatinos listed.
Does anyone know where the amp is located on a 98 Cherokee?

 

Look under the rear seats mine is on the driver side...lift up the back seat bottom and you will see it there...black box about 10"x7"...do you have the infinity sound system right?
