Default 90 shadow ignition switch w/ tilt

2.5L non-Turbo
need some help. replaced the ignition switch and cylinder. now when it is in the START position, there is no power to the yellow wire, but the brake light on the dash comes on

am I doing something wrong? power comes on to the accessories (radio, etc) in the ON position so there is power at the switch

when it goes to STARTit springs back, so appears to be seated corrrectly. what the heck is going on??

the switch is also grounded as far as i can tell (continuity between locking pin and ground under the carper on drivers side)

the car will turn overwhenthe starter relay is jumperedbetween battery and solenoid (brown and black wires)....

was the switch. old and "new" ones were both bad [:@]

got a 3rd from NAPA, works great.

now to solve the real problem. won't start. ASD relay and fuel pump will run for 2 switch on attempts after disconnecting battery. on the 3rd (and after) ASD relay won't close until battery is disconnected again

in no case will it start.

starter cranks every time the key is in start, regardless of ASD relay

maybe Hall effect or MAP sensor ?

Replaced Hall effect sensor, and it's running now.

At the same time I also replaced plugs, wires, rotor, cap, and ignition coil (all pretty worn)

Now it zips along!
