NEED PERFORMANCE, PLEASE!
Hey, I have and 88 sundance that i race on a dirt track. I am having some problems...
1. I hit the rev limiter in second, and when i shift into drive it bogs down. My tach says its hitting the limiter at 4200. Does Anyone know how to remove it?
2. Lack of Performance- The stock sundance has 93 hp. I am looking for more. Is there any chips/mods or racing cams out there? Any other solutions?

Oh yeah, it has the 2.2l fuel injected SOHC engine. Also, I was wondering with a 2 ft exhaust pipe if it might lose back pressure and change the computer or something and would make it hit the rev limiter? I have no idea. Thanks again.
This might helphttps://dodgeforum.com/m_781872/tm.htm. And as far as the limiter goes, i have never hit the limiter in my shadow. And I know it is a lot higher than 4200. The redline on these motors is 6000.
The only time my 2.5L Daytona acted like it had a rev limiter was when the cam had a crack in it, it lasted acouple monthsbefore itsnapped in half. IfI tried maxing out the rpms it would only hit around 4K rpm then bounce down and back up again.
i know this is an old post, but i had a problem with my engine when i replaced it it wouldnt go past 4k either it turned that the MAP sensor has a vaccume tube hooked to it and it was disconected, hooked it up 6k all over again
