To find a 5 spd tranmission for a 3.0 and mate it it one of the 3.8 liter engines in the caravans? Would it be possible to put it in a shadow/daytona? I don't plan on doing this i just think that this would be an awesome swap and would make more torque than the turbo III (our caravan makes 240 ft-lbs). The problems i could think of would be hood clearance and the wiring harness. Any input on this?[:-]

 

Yes there is a 5 speed for a 3.0. The 3.3 3.8 don't share the bell housing bolt pattern. So no there is no stock 5 speed for them. You could get the motor to fit but I wouldn't know for sure. The 3.3 3.8 or not as wide but they may be taller.
