Default I need R12 Freon

Summer approaches, and being a convertible I can just put the top down, but some day I know its gonna be raining, and my air conditioner system is bone dry.

Where can I get R12 Freon, I know its as rare as finding a needle in a haystack and all. I read online that only certified people can buy/handle R12 Freon.

Why don't you convert it to 134a? If would be about 1/3 the cost of r12 if you could find it.

can you point me in the direction of a tutorial of how to do this?? Ive heard of people doing it, but it ends up breaking down parts of the refrigerant system.

http://www.owenautomotive.ca/AirConditioning.htm

Read this. It says no one can legally sell R12 since was banned.

Also I have been train and certified in A/C. I never heard of a system braking down because it was retrofit to 134a.
