Default Rear Turn Signal

I have a 93 shadow and my right rear turn signal isnt working. When I pull the unit out, it sometimes works and sometimes doesnt, it seems like there is a loose cord, but I cant figure it out. there are the two positive and neg cords im guessing and then a black cord on the side. I really need to figure this out... any ideas?

I had the same problem, I simply replaced the bulb and it fixed it. The bulb wasnt blown, but when I replaced it, the problem went away. Of course that might not be your problem, I wouldalso check for any corosion in the unit. And btwthe one black chord is probably ground.

Yeah the black cord is the ground, and I switched the bulbs and it worked in the left signal but the other bulb still doesnt work in the right, BUT it turns on at least now, so I can "turn" manually until i find a fix, Im gonna either replace the flasher unit under the dash, or try and replace the bulb socket.
