I've gota 1993 Dodge Shadow (2.5L 4 cylinder). I wonder if anybody can tell me what their temperature gauge is showing when the engine fan switches on. My temperatureneedle would go to the marking just before the H (the end of the solid line in the middle of the temp gauge). It would switch off again when theneedle reach the center of the scale again. The needle normally points to the center of the gauge when driving on the open road. It just seems to me if it should be switching on earlier, and that the engine would be stressed by the hight temperature before the fan switches on.I've already replaced both temperature sensors (guage & fan).

 

Turn on the defrost and your fan will turn on.
