3.0L turbo?
Hey i'm new to this forum. My name is Phil... i recently bought a 1993 dodge shadow 3.0L 6v 5 speed and wanted to know is there is a turbo set up for my car? It's my first car. It's quick but I feel she has more potental. Any suggestions on how to get more horses out of her? Thanks Phil
P.S. I'm not a just stupid teenager like most people would guess by me wanting to go faster. I do have respect on the street. I've been hit by a speeder and it sucks.

how much mechanical know how do you have? I would say just keep it the way it is, maybe switch to bigger injectors, put on a ram air and open up the exhuast, anything more than that and you'll probably be in over your head. that car should be plenty quick though i bring my 2.5 shadow to the strip and have beaten a few people
Thanks guys, yeah i was thinking this car is basicly stock, so jumping right into a turbo may not be the best idea right now. Little things like cold air kits, exhaust, etc. is what im gunna try right now. I was reading bout turbos and that is a trick right now seeing as i need my car almost everyday.
thanks Phil

Yeah I would check into injectors from the Turbo 3? engines I heard that fuel delivery is a big problem when modding these cars, hell practice your launches and shifting and you'll probably be able to keep up with or beat v8 mustangs etc. I do have a few questions as to how the 3.0's gas mileage is though..... Im picking a 94 shadow es up for 300 bucks when i get my tax return back
gas on this car is good, i went to london for christmas on half a tank. i think ill do some regular work to her like rad flush, oil change, new plugs, wires, rotar, cap, clean air filter and see how that goes. When i first baught it i beat my dad in his 1998 grandprix GT with a 3.8.
Thanks Phil
